II. AP Exam Registration: Requirements

IMPORTANT Contact Email: We send all important messages about AP exams to the email address listed in each student’s MYAP account. The parent’s email is used as a backup and to copy the information. Please remind your students to use the same and correct email when registering and signing up for their MYAP account at myap.collegeboard.org to ensure they stay informed.

Open the online Registration Form;
Securely upload a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, or health card with a formal portrait photo) and complete the registration form;
Submit the completed form;
Receive the email of Payment instruction and pay before the deadline;
Receive the email of join code(s) once the payment is confirmed;
Enter the join code(s) through the College Board Student Account at myap.collegeboard.org to finalize the exam registration before the deadlines.

III. What to Know about Digital AP Exams

Students will take digital exams in the Bluebook app. Bluebook digital testing is user-friendly and designed to keep testing smooth and secure.
Digital format Exams can be taken on students’ personal Mac and Windows devices, iPads, and Windows tablets with physical keyboards. Bluebook must be installed before test day.
Students only need to be connected to the internet to start the test and at the end to submit their responses. If the internet drops during testing, students can continue testing without disruption. (*In case of a widespread internet outage for an extended period or another unforeseen issue that prevents automatic answer submission at the end of the exam, students have up until 4 days after the exam to find an internet connection and submit their encrypted responses. )
After the proctor starts the exam, Bluebook controls the exam timing; exam responses are submitted automatically as soon as the exam ends. 
For math, science, and economics exams that require graphing or symbolic notation, students will view free-response questions and prompts in Bluebook and write their answers in paper exam booklets.  
Late-testing exams in these subjects, if offered by the school, are also in digital format. 
AP students will be able to access free online practice resources. Test previews will be available for all subjects in Bluebook later in the 2024-25 school year. Students will be able to access free online practice exams, quizzes, and other teacher-created assessments in AP Classroom.
The basic requirements of the exams aren’t changing.
- Students can go back within a section or part to review or complete previous questions. Students may not return to parts within a section that have already been completed. 
- Digital AP Exams allow students to highlight and annotate exam stimuli and questions, mark questions to revisit, and eliminate answer choices. Students will be able to plan and outline on scratch paper provided by the proctor. 
- AP calculator policies are unchanged. 
- Reference materials, such as the periodic table, equation sheets, and Java Quick Reference, will be available in Bluebook.

2025 AP Exam Goes to Fully or Hybrid Digital format!

Starting in May 2025, the College Board will discontinue standard paper testing for 28 AP Exams—these exams will move to the Bluebook digital testing application.

Digital exams are much more secure than shipping paper exams in boxes to thousands of locations weeks in advance.

In addition to ensuring exam security, digital exams have other advantages:

Digital AP testing is streamlined: No more lengthy bubbling and labeling of paper materials before testing can start.
Digital AP testing is accessible: Bluebook supports testing on commonly used devices, and students can use their own or a school-issued device.
Digital AP testing is student-friendly: Students like the Bluebook interface for the way it helps them focus on the relevant parts of longer reading passages; enables faster writing and editing compared to handwriting; and provides a less stressful testing experience.

Accelerating the digital transition will help us preserve the integrity of the AP Exam experience for students and educators. “Feats of Strength” Resulted in Success

SPIRIT OF WISDOM: Building Curiosity Among School Students

Bond Academy organized the third edition of the interschool quiz competition – Spirit of Wisdom on April 5^th, 2024, at Bond Campus located at 1500 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario.

There were seven private schools participating in the event. Crestwood Preparatory College bagged the first prize, and the second prize was shared by two schools, TMS school and Hawthorn School for girls.

Spirit of wisdom is a unique quiz and knowledge initiative by Bond Academy, aimed at building curiosity among school students. The competition pushes the limits of student’s knowledge and helps them to think beyond textbooks. Questions were posed by moderators from UofT.alumni. They chose a wide array of topics ranging from Science and Technology, Arts, Media, Sports, and General Knowledge. There were four different rounds, and the result of each round signifies the brilliance of each participating school.

The quiz competition created a fun and interactive platform through which both staff and students were exposed to continuous growth and learning process.

Bond Secondary students had their curling tournament up in Richmond Hill on February 26, 2024.

The curling team of Jack, Jennie, Damien and Zain were fantastic! They competed well, getting better with each match.

We had one win and three narrow losses on the day.
